It is possible to watch a DVD movie on TV using night vision goggles? I think the answer is No. What about U?

Images are compressed and encoding in mpeg4 on DVD. Only light the eye can see is shown. Anything outside normal light eg Infrared and UV are deleted. So what would someone wearing night vision see on the TV?

Night vision goggles use ambient light so the light from the TV would be very bright. No is the answer it would be like looking at the sun

You'd get dazzled by the very bright light emmitting from the TV, and not a lot else other than dark green fuzz.

did it in A-level physics. Well, a PC monitor instead of a TV, but I assume the result will be the same.
