PSP Camera Extension Cable

September 2, 2009 - 7:58 pm 20 Comments

This is the PSP camera (also called the Chotto Shot in Japan) attached to a USB extension cable. You can get this cable from Hong Kong or you can make it yourself with items purchased from your local electronics store as well as things around your home. I can also make these cables. See my other videos including my slide show tutorial attaching the cable and my night vision modified PSP camera. The Night Vision Camera has also been modified to shoot video right-side-up video even when positioned upside down (like stuck to the sunroof on a suction cup tripod)! This is great for mobile blogging :)

    The Cable extension …
The Cable extension is really a great idea! Because this makes it easier mounting the camera somwhow on a tripod for example, while you are holding your PSP in your hands secure, instead of trying to mount it all on the tripod. Same sittuation with placing it inside a car under the rear mirror, while the PSP is laying gently on the copilot seat, or cliped on a holding device (like for navigation devices).
