Any ideas what this could be?

so i have been to the eye docter for this and she cant seem to figure it out and now i have to go to a specialist.

i have double vision but its not:
monocular double vision-its doesnt matter if i cover and eye or not its still there
keratoconus-ive had the test done and she even asked another doctor and they both said no.

she has checked everything she can possible think of and nothing adds up to what i describe:
i see an extra image (a blurry one) above the actual image. this mainly occurs in high contrast type things. especially at night. when my headlights reflect off of signs and lines on the road i see two of them. i dont have diabetes so i know thats not it ive had that checked to. im 17 and it seems like its getting worse everyday im starting to see it more and more during the day. other than that my eyes are healthy other than a very minor astigmatism.

does anyone else know what this could be?

I have this problem as well, I have a corneal dystropy. It creates what is called a ‘halo’ effect around your eye resuling in distorted and double images. Make sure you are seeing an actual eye doctor. and MD not a DO, for such a serious issue you want to see a doctor who is associated with a hospital and more advanced training. Good Luck….healthy vision is imp.

Best night vision to view stars?
