Night Vision Equipment

Wildlife isn’t the only thing I see when hiking through the city parks at night with a thermal imager, Night Vision Equipment, etc. I often get footage of vandalism, people having sex, doing drug deals, police beating up and steeling dope from the drug dealers and taking advantage of the prostitutes etc., etc., etc. Although most of that content isn’t related to or appropriate for this channel I am often asked about it so I found a clip I can post here. This is the all too common activity of stealing firewood from a city park for a bush party. These guys made several trips to the pile before I started recording. I hope they met some drunk bimbos. I’d hate to think they are ruining it for the rest of us for nothing.

I built this night vision scope from spare parts in 2006. while it technically isn’t a light amplification device, it is a way to see in the dark, kind of an “Invisible Flashlight” using invisible infrared light.

This deer is a member of the Bravo Clan, a city dwelling heard that I come across on a regular basis while wildlife prowling. Thermal imaging shows that its right/rear hoof is inflamed from aliment or injury. The deer also walks with a notable limp. The last time I encountered this deer it appeared considerably improved.

This is one of my first wildlife encounters with the Thermal imager so it looks a little “Blair Witch project”. I often spot things with the imager while driving. This is in the middle of nowhere at 02:15am. I have the imager on its side at first so I can see it better while in the vehicle. Good work if you figure out what the contact is before it moves.

For Education Only. The Eye Clops Night Vision Goggles are around $50-$70 new you can also find them on ebay for cheap. It uses infered lighting (The Human Eye Cannot see infered light) and the camera that you see from can see infered light so you can see in complete darkness without the other person seeing you. It can see in complete darkness on low power you can see in the dark but not very far but when you turn on full power you can see up to 50 feet away. The only problem on full power is that you can see a small red ring around the top. The Other problem is that there is only one camera that you can see from so it gets kinda annoying after awhile. If you are playing a game in the dark then you take them off one eye will be adjusted to the light and the other wont. There are also two switches one switch has a green button and the othere has a white when you switch on the green you can see the green screen lighting but when you turn on the white one it turns to black and white screen. The night vision goggles take 6 AA batteries. On Full power the goggles can only work for 3 hours. There is something that you can do about that though you can open up the other switch next to the eye that does not have the camera then turn off the night vision goggles and look with your regular sight. It is kinda heavy. please comment rate and subscribe

Me trying out my new modified camera. I added a new feature to my camera to make itnight vision. i am not making a tutorial on how to modifie your camera so stop asking!!! just look it up on google or Youtube!!
